Ex-No Surrender leader broke club conduct by talking to police

Klaas Otto, the arrested ex-leader of motorcycle gang No Surrender, broke the most important rule in motorcycle clubs' code of conduct by speaking to the police and Public Prosecutor, according to the Telegraaf.

The most important rule in the code regards the silence of members and ex-members - as in, no talking to the authorities, the newspaper reports. Otto, who is suspected of extortion, assault, money laundering, arson and fraud, already broke this rule by giving the Public Prosecutor and police extensive statements. And he will do so again by speaking during a hearing scheduled for Friday, according to sources around the investigation.

According to Otto's lawyer, the former No Surrender leader specifically stepped down as leader and away from the club so that he could talk to the authorities.

A Defense employee was recently arrested for leaking information to Otto. According to Omroep Brabant, she now claims that she was acting in fear. According to her, Otto forced her to do all kinds of things, including getting a tattoo of him in an intimate place.
