Six teenagers arrested for Hague car fires

The police arrested six suspects in The Hague on Monday in connection with numerous car fires in the Molenwijk neighborhood in May this year. Arson was involved in all cases. The fires happened on Ketelstraat, Laakweg, Molenstraat, Neherkade, Noordpolderkade and Splitstraat in the Hague neighborhood. Six cars were completely destroyed. Another was damaged, though the perpetrators never managed to set it no fire. The police investigation into the fires, including trace evidence investigations and numerous witnesses questioned, led the detectives to a group of boys from The Hague. The six boys, aged 15 and 16 years old, were arrested on Monday. They are in custody for questioning and further investigation. The investigation is still ongoing and the police expect more arrests may follow.
