Video in Amsterdam decapitation murder shows van burst into flames

New video footage was released in the case surrounding the beheading of Nabil Amzieb in March. The new surveillance camera video, shown on Opsporing Verzocht on Tuesday, shows a Volkswagen Caddy containing the Amsterdam man's decapitated body blowing up on Mijehof in the city. The Caddy is left on Mijehof around 1:00 a.m. on March 8th. For about an hour, nothing happens. Then the car explodes. A man can be seen running away, turning back to grab his bicycle and then quickly cycling out of sight. The police also revealed that Amzieb's body was "largely undressed" when it was discovered. The investigators are looking for the clothes he was wearing when he was last seen - a black tracksuit. The case surrounding Amzieb's beheading still has not been solved. A 20 thousand euros reward is now available for information that leads to an arrest. After a previous broadcast of Opsporing Verzocht, in which the police revealed video footage of a suspect leaving Amzieb's head in front of a shisha lounge on Amstelveenseweg on March 9th, about 20 tips were received. But none of them led to an arrest.
