Tourists rescued after riding rental bikes on Amsterdam freeway

Two Greek tourists somehow managed to end up on the A10 highway with their rented bicycles on Tuesday night. The police found them at the Rai in Amsterdam, near the connection with the A2 and escorted them off the road. According to AT5, the officers were about to write the tourists a ticket, but had to respond to another report and they, along with the bikes they rented from Mac Bikes, were let off with a stern warning. The highway team of the police called the tourists' actions "life threateningly dangerous".
