Limburg father raped, impregnated his daughter, 14, prosecutor says

A 51 year old man from Roerdalen, Limburg is suspected of raping and sexually abusing two teenage girls, one of them his daughter, over a period of 14 years. His daughter fell pregnant with his child when she was 14 years old. The Public Prosecutor confirmed this to the Telegraaf. The man, Andre H., is in custody at the Sittard Prison De Geerhorst. According to the judiciary in Roermond, the sexual abuse and rape of the two teenagers happened in Roermond and Vlodrop between 2000 and 2014. The abuse came to light when one of the victims confided in a family member. In addition to the sexual abuse, H. also physically abused the two girls. His daughter told the police that H. fathered a child with her when she was fourteen years old. She kept this quiet for years because she was afraid of her father retaliating. The Netherlands Forensic Institute confirmed that H. is the father of the child. H. denies the sexual abuse and that he conceived a child with his 14 year old daughter, according to the Telegraaf. The criminal investigation is still ongoing.
