Facebook to give access to two revenge porn investigators

Two IT investigators will be searching through the Facebook systems to find information on the person who posted a sex tape featuring 21 year old Werkendam woman Chantal. That is the preliminary ruling of the hearing in the Amsterdam court on Friday, RTL Nieuws reports. Earlier this year the court ordered that Facebook should allow an expert into their system to see whether or not any information on the sex-tape poster was available. Friday's hearing was necessary because Chantal and Facebook could not agree on what investigator to use. Chantal insisted on Dutch expert Mark Hoekstra. Facebook insisted on Irishman O'Reilly. According to RTL, it became clear during the hearing that Facebook would not object to the use of two experts, provided that O'Reilly be given an acting role and Hoekstra an observing one. Hoekstra also agreed to those terms. The court gave the both parties until November 20th to reach an agreement on, among other things, the cost and scope of the investigation. If they can not reach an agreement by then, the judge will decide.
