Seven arrested for underage sex in human trafficking bust

The police arrested seven men between the ages of 25 and 50 years old on Tuesday and Wednesday on suspicion of having sex with underage prostitutes. The suspects come from Noord Holland and Flevoland. These underage girls worked in the unlicensed sector, according to the police statement. The police believe that the seven arrested men were their customers. They were interrogated by the Amsterdam police and released to await the Prosecutor's decision on whether or not they will be prosecuted. The suspects were found in an investigation into human trafficking and sexual exploitation of underage girls. Four other men have already been convicted in this investigation. They were given sentences of between 18 and 36 months.
