Video: “Bad tackle” caused broken leg in stunning PSV upset over Man U

Tuesday was a bad day for Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal. Not only did his team lose 2-1 against PSV in Eindhoven, but one of his players Luke Shaw suffered a broken leg in what Van Gaal calls a "bad tackle". The injury happened in the first 15 minutes of the match. PSV player Hector Moreno floored Shaw in the penalty box. Shaw was severely injured and had to be hospitalized. "He has a double leg fracture", Van Gaal confirmed after the game. Shaw may have to undergo surgery in Manchester. "It is awful. PSV coach Philip Cocu also expressed his regret. "That's a very nasty injury. He is young and important for the team. It is terrible that this happened to him. But I do not believe that it was Moreno's intention to injure him. It was an accident. Hector feels very bad about it." Cocu is very pleased with his team's victory.
