A robber was arrested in The Hague on Monday morning after he accidentally walked by a police station and a witness recognized him. The 29 year old man is suspected of being involved in a violent robbery a short time earlier.
The robbery happened in the early hours of Monday morning on the Prinsengracht, according to the police. A 45 year old man was wounded in the robbery and rushed to the hospital.
The police asked the witnesses to go to the police station on Jan Hendrikstraat for questioning. While the witnesses were waiting to give a statement, one of them spotted the robber walking past the police station and informed an officer.
