Report: Dutch criminal target in Barcelona La Rambla shooting
A Dutch criminal was one of two people injured in a shooting in Barcelona on Tuesday. Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia reported on Thursday that one victim is a 26 year old Dutchman that is on the international wanted list.
The shooting happened in front of a hotel in the center of Barcelona on Tuesday. One man opened fire on two other men. The two men fled into a shop. The Spanish police initially thought that the shooting was a robbery, but soon changed their assumption to a conflict between criminals, according to NU.
The 26 year old Dutchman was seriously injured and taken to the hospital where he was arrested. According to Omroep Brabant and the Telegraaf, the Dutch man is Jori Sven van Z., a member of motorcycle club No Surrender.
Van Z. is wanted by the Dutch police for a shooting on Medoclaan in Eindhoven.
