Amsterdam sex shop armed robbery under investigation

A sex shop on Nieuwendijk in Amsterdam was robbed on Sunday night. The armed robbery happened around 7:30 p.m. and the perpetrator fled with an unknown amount of money. The store owner and the employee who was threatened with the fire arm have filed charges, AT5 reports. The perpetrator's description was put on Burgernet. The robber is a young man with short hear, wearing jeans and a grey sweater. He was seen fleeing on foot in the direction of Haarlemmerdijk after the robbery. Several police units, including a helicopter, were deployed to search for the culprit, but so far there has been no sign of him. The police have taken footage off the surveillance cameras in the store for investigation. A number of items in the sex store was also seized for DNA analysis. Witnesses who have any information that could help with this case are asked to contact the police. As the suspect is armed, citizens are warned not to approach him themselves.
