Cafe de Sok in Schijndel uploaded a picture of their new regular, Stan the Beer Drinker, on Facebook on Monday and was quickly discovered by media outlets worldwide. Stan only went out for one beer, he said, which he finished as if it was a glass of water. Granted, the "one beer" was a full 7.2-liter beer stein he needed both of his hands to hold onto.

The now-famous beer drinker stood in the Noord-Brabant bar again on Wednesday emptying the same 7.2-liter glass. Cafe de Sok only opened about a month ago, and the owner, Thomas de Groot, received the huge glass during the opening of the bar. Cafe Sok has already gained almost , where as Stan the Beer Drinker's own Facebook page stood at about 370 likes as of Thursday afternoon. The social media bumps came after the local celebrity's story was picked up by Australian entertainment site The Lad Bible OZ and local site Dumpert.

The content of the enormous glass is the equivalent of 24 beer bottles, the owner told the Brabants Dagblad. He wants to keep the glass as a permanent feature. As a picture on the Cafe's Facebook page shows, the glass sits empty behind the bar with a text saying "Do you dare?"
