Third Amsterdam shooting in two days sends one to hospital

One person was wounded in a shooting incident in Amsterdam-Noord on Monday night. According to the police, the shooting was the result of a quarrel that got out of hand. Witnesses state that multiple shots were fired around 22:10 p.m. on the corner of Natchtegaalstraat and Reigerweg, RTV Noord-Holland reports. The victim was taken to the hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown. The shooter fled towards Meeuwenlaan on foot after the shooting.

This is the third shooting in Amsterdam in two days. Underworld figure Baris Onder was shot and killed in his car in Amsterdam-Osdorp in the early hours of Sunday morning. Two people were injured in a shooting incident, also in Amsterdam-Osdorp, on Sunday evening. The police have made three arrests in this shooting.
