Most think firing BDSM escort / Dutch Central Bank official unfair

The majority of Dutch people think that the Dutch Central Bank employee who was caught living a double life as a BDSM mistress should be able to do what she wants after office hours. This is according to a poll De Telegraaf did among more than 27 thousand respondents. Magazine Quote revealed the affair on Monday. The lady in question supervised the DNB trust sector by day and provided services as an SM mistress after office hours under the motto "the kinkier the better". DNB dismissed her due to "an integrity issue". Most of the participants in the poll found the dismissal unjustified. Under the statement "The SM mistress was rightly dismissed', 46 percent of respondents chose the option "What you do outside of work time is your own business". 25 percent chose "Disagree, as long as she did not have sex with the people she supervised". Slightly more than 24 percent found the dismissal justified because "she made herself susceptible to blackmail with this".
