Power outage gradually restored; Diemen substation fault the cause
Grid administrator TenneT just announced on Twitter that the voltage power grid is being rebuilt and power is gradually being restored. Parts of Noord-Holland now have power again. Power has been restored at Schiphol airport and some flights have started moving again.
The massive power outage currently affecting large parts of Noord-Holland was caused by a technical fault at the 380 kV substation in Diemen, TenneT announced. "We are investigating the cause and are making every effort to restore power as quickly as possible." TenneT said on their website.
Spanning elektriciteitsnet wordt weer opgebouwd. Stroomvoorziening wordt geleidelijk hersteld. In delen van Noord-Holland is er weer stroom.
