MH17: 296 of 298 victims identified

Forensic investigators have identified another MH17 victim at the Korporaal Van Oudheusden barracks in Hilversum. This leaves only two unidentified passengers, both of Dutch nationality. The newly identified victim is one of the 196 Dutch people who were aboard the Malaysia Airlines flight when it was shot down in July. The victim's relatives have been informed, RTV Noord Holland reports. It is still possible that more information about the two remaining unidentified victims will come from the remains that are currently in Hilversum. But is currently too early to say if or when such information will become available, the Ministry of Security and Justice said on Saturday. A Dutch investigation team, consisting of Defense personnel, police and an employee of the Safety Board, left for the Ukraine last week. The team is making preparations in the Ukraine for the Netherlands' repatriation mission to resume in April.
