PVV front-runners in latest poll

There were no significant shifts in the Peilingwijzer (Community poll) in the past few days, despite the resignation of VVD officials Minister Ivo Opstelten and State Secretary Fred Teeven (Security and Justice). At this stage, with only days remaining before the Provincial Elections, the PVV is in the lead. There are currently three parties contending for the most seats in the Tweede Kamer (lower house of parliament): The PVV with between 23 and 27 seats, The D66 with between 22 and 26 seats and the VVD with between 20 and 26 seats. The SP and CDA are lagging somewhat behind with both parties having between 17 and 21 seats, followed by the PvdA with between 13 and 17 seats. The coalition parties VVD and PvdA lost some ground, but according to Tom Louwerse, creator of the Peilingwijzer, it was well within the margin of error.
