Dutch PM Rutte to address Amsterdam Charlie Hebdo rally

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is giving a speech after the moment of silence to commemorate the victims and families of the Charlie Hebdo shootings is concluded. Prime Minister Rutte will make his remarks from Dam Square in Amsterdam.Representatives of the media and the police will speak alongside Prime Minister Rutte and the Mayor of Amsterdam, Eberhard van der Laan, will close the event with his own comments. Amsterdam officials have organized the event, which begins with a march from the French consulate to Dam Square at 6:30 p.m. Once at the Dam, the speeches will begin, with everything wrapped up at about 8 p.m. Various Dutch municipalities are organizing silent marches or demonstrations to support the victims and survivors of the shootings in Paris on Wednesday.
