Extra U2 Amsterdam tour dates sell out in minutes

Tickets for the two extra U2 concert dates at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam were sold out within seven minutes. The Irish rock band will now perform four times in the Netherlands in September, 2015. A spokesman for Mojo Concerts says that he is unsure if there will be any further additional concerts. Tickets to the extra September 12 and 13 shows were made available on Monday due to overwhelming demand, and sold out even quicker than the 30 000 tickets for the September 8 and 9 performances. “We are going to try to have a completely different feeling from night one to night two and have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience," U2 frontman Bono wrote on the band's website. "More to be revealed!”
