Daughter removed from house of suspected jihadist couple

The five-month-old daughter of accused jihadist Shukri F. and her husband, convicted jihad fighter Maher H., was removed from her home in Zoetermeer, Zuid Holland as ordered by the Dutch Child Care and Protection Board. Shukri F. broke the news to her her followers on Twitter after Monday's proceedings. Maher H. is currently serving a three year sentence, while his wife was acquitted of the charges against her. Shukri F. was charged with recruiting fighters to join ISIS, for which the Public Prosecutor wanted her to serve four years in prison. A Hague court ruled that Shukri is an avid jihadist supporter, but that there is inadequate evidence to convict the 20-year-old of the recruitment charge. A spokesperson for the Board confirmed that the baby was removed from the mother's custody, RTL Nieuws reported.
