Two arrested in aviary bird theft

On Tuesday, November 11th, the police arrested two suspects in connection with the theft of birds from Avifauna in Alphen. The two suspects are a 20 year old man from Oss and a 24 year old man from Den Bosch. The police are also investigating other thefts of birds in Westland and Brabant in which these two suspects may also be involved. The investigation continues and the police does not exclude the possibility that more arrests may be made. On Monday night, September 15th, suspects broke into the bird park Avifauna and stole 36 rare birds. Many of these birds have been found.
