Man, 29, dies in police custody

In Uden, a 29-year-old man was arrested for being a public nuisance. When he was brought to the police station, however, he became unwell and later died, the police reports. According to the police report, the man was arrested for creating a disturbance in his residence in Reek. He reportedly chased after passers-by and behaved confrontational. Residents kept him in place and called the police, who escorted him to the station in Uden. After the arrest, the man became unwell in the back of the vehicle. At the police station, attempts to resuscitate the man were in vain. The Internal Investigation unit of the police will look deeper into the case.
