Man hit by train survives

A 25-year-old man from Dordrecht survived a collision with a train in Tricht on Thursday night. The police say that the man is in hospital for injuries to his arms and legs, the Algemeen Dagblad reports. According to the AD, the train driver didn't even notice when his train hit the man, who was walking next to the tracks from Culemborg. He was walking with a friend from Geldermalsen. The friend noticed at a certain point that he couldn't see the victim anymore. When he went to check, the man was lying next to the tracks, wounded.
