Truck on train tracks after accident; A'dam

A truck has ended up on the train tracks on the southern side of Amsterdam after an accident between the Badhoevedorp and Sloten junctions on the A4 just before 7 a.m. Nobody was hurt. There are some delays with traffic for this morning. According to the Traffic Information Service, another truck was involved as well. One of these trucks collided with a passenger vehicle, and the other swerved in an attempt to avoid the crash. This truck barrelled straight through the crash barrier onto the tracks. The train traffic between Schiphol and Amsterdam-Lelylaan has been stopped. The NS hopes it will be back to normal around 11 a.m. Traffic on the A4 and A9 is also affected.
