Baby rescued from overheated car
Police and paramedics rescued a two-week-old baby Friday from an overheated car in Kaatsheuvel, Noord Brabant. Parents left the child in the locked car with closed windows and walked away for some time, according to newspaper de Telegraaf. According to witnesses at the scene, the baby had been in the locked car for ten or fifteen minutes before the emergency workers arrived to rescue the child. The man who owned the car said that the baby was left inside only for a couple of minutes while the parents were running errands.
Paramedics determined that the baby was healthy and did not suffer from being in the overheated car. They released the child back to the parents, who then went home, according to the paper.
