Fatal accident on N833 by Buurmalsen

A 76-year-old motorist from Dordrecht was killed in a car accident on the N833 between Culemborg and Geldermalsen Sunday afternoon , reported the police. Around 14:00 the man's wheels presumably first hit the right shoulder, near Buurmalsen. Through an over-correction, the car ended up on the left-hand side of the road, and hit a tree. Several emergency services went to the scene of the accident, but to no avail. The victim was killed instantly.
