Fox Launches ‘Welcome to Dutchland’

Fox in the Netherlands has launched its first integrated campaign to endorse the channel after assigning Anomaly Amsterdam as its agency of record. Photo by Peter Dutton/flickr The campaign called ‘Welcome to Dutchland,’ is intended to bring in Fox television to Netherlands residents. It features popular characters from movies around the world, television shows and football in common Dutch settings. The new campaign includes Homer Simpson trying his first herring, zombies from The Walking Dead coming out of a cafe, and international football players disrupted by cows. “The Welcome to Dutchland campaign introduces the Fox brand in a bold way, heroing the channel's key content while connecting with Dutch culture,” Fox International Channels Marketing Director Michel Palmen said. The promotion will change into ‘Welkom bij Fox’ by the end of August to add in radio, print, OOH, and digital activity. This is to welcome Fox’s programming in TV series, football and movies.
