Netherlands and Spain Proceed to the Semi-Finals

The Netherlands and Spain moves on to the UEFA European Under-21’s Championship semi-finals, after eliminating Russia and Germany, respectively.

The two countries are currently tied at six points and both leading Group B. They have two remaining matches to play. Germany and Russia, on the other hand, are out of the tournament.

Spain’s coach said in a news conference that he’s very proud of his players, who demonstrated character, ambition, and personality in their latest match. He also told the conference that they were not expecting to qualify early on but they are focused and determined to win against the Netherlands.

The two teams will play against each other in the final Group B match on Wednesday.
