Dead Monkey in Fridge

The police found a dead monkey, headless and meant for consumption, in the vegetable tray of a fridge in a house in Dordrecht, a city in the province of South-Holland. When cops visited the house earlier to investigate a different case, they saw in the fridge something that looked like a monkey. With great disbelief, they left and wrote a report. Colleagues who read the report also decided to have a look in the house of the African family. They confirmed that there was indeed a monkey in the fridge for consumption. RTL.nl reports that it remains unclear if the family broke a law. Because the monkey did not have a head, it is difficult to determine if the case involves a protected species. A specialist is investigating the case.
