More Cyber Attacks

The Dutch newspaper Telegraaf reported a cyber attack on Monday morning. Its website was offline for two hours on Sunday night and for half an hour on Monday morning at 9:00 am. Publisher Herman Mantel said that the investigation of the newspaper showed that a DDos-attack was the cause. RTL.nl explains that a DDos-attack bombards websites with a large quantity of data and requests, more than the sites could handle. The Dutch National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) of the Ministry of Security and Justice reports that more websites are being targeted today.
