Jet Airways is canceling more flights to and from Amsterdam. All flights between Schiphol and India scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are canceled, the financially troubled Indian airline confirmed to NL Times in a statement. 

Jet Airways flies between Amsterdam and Bengaluru (commonly known as "Bangalore"), Delhi, and Mumbai in India, and also Toronto, Canada. The airline suspended the route between Amsterdam and Toronto on April 11th "until further notice", a Jet Airways spokesperson said to NL Times by email.

After having one of its Boeings seized at Schiphol Airport on Wednesday, cash-strapped Indian airline Jet Airways canceled almost all of its flights to and from Amsterdam on Friday. The cancelations are due to "operational reasons", the financially troubled airline said, according to various media outlets.

KLM must adjust its routes for almost all flights to Asia because Pakistan closed its airspace to commercial flights due to increased tensions with India. KLM passengers traveling to and from Asian destinations will have to take longer travel times into account as long as the airspace is closed, KLM said, NU.nl reports.

According to the Public Prosecutor, now 4-year-old Insiya's abduction from her grandmother's Amsterdam apartment was done according to a "military plan". This plan was drawn up by suspect Willem V., was revealed in the court of Amsterdam on Monday. The 54-year-old man said in court that he completely misjudged the situation, NU.nl reports.

The trial against six men suspected of involvement in the abduction of Insiya Hemani from her grandmother's Amsterdam apartment starts on Monday. The court allocated five days for this trial. The seventh suspect, Insiya's father Shehzad Hemani, is currently in India and will not be tried this week, Het Parool reports.

The court in Alkmaar sentenced 26-year-old Lars de R. from Krommenie to four years in prison and institutionalized psychiatric treatment for sexually abusing 10 underage boys in Netherlands, India and Croatia, NOS reports.

De R. became famous when he reached the finals of talent show Holland's Got Talent at the age of 16 in 2009. The court found him guilty of having sex with ten boys multiple times over the course of eight years. The youngest victim was 4-years-old at the time.

A Dutch woman was found dead in a hotel room in the T Nagar area of Chennai, India on Thursday. The young woman, identified as 24-year-old Linda Irene Heijker based on passport records, was found under mysterious circumstances, India Today reports.

The Dutch woman checked in to the hotel on Monday, introducing herself as a journalist, and told hotel staff she would be checking out on Thursday morning, according to the newspaper. When she hadn't checked out of her room by 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, hotel workers opened her room with a duplicate key and found her dead.

Insiya Hemani, the now 4-year-old girl who was allegedly taken from her Amsterdam home by people hired by her father, will stay in India with her father, his legal team said. The team made the statement based on their interpretation of an Indian court’s ruling on appeal, though that ruling was not yet published by the court. Insiya's mother contested the claim saying no such ruling was made, calling the statement from the father's side "fake news."

Prime Minister Mark Rutte discussed the abduction of Amsterdam girl Insiya Hemani on a "high level" in India on Thursday, a spokesperson for the Prime Minister said. On Thursday Rutte met with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, ANP reorts.

Rutte would make no further comments about the case. "That is not in the interest of finding a solution", his spokesperson said to the news wire.

He filed charges against mother Nadia Rashid, resulting in an arrest warrant being issued against her in India - so if she goes to the country to reunite with her daughter, she will be arrested, the Telegraaf reports.

Insiya Hemani, kidnapped from her grandmother's Amsterdam home by her father in September 2016, turns four years old today. To celebrate her mother Nadia Rashid made a birthday video with magazine Vrouw and posted an emotional message on Facebook. 

"Happy birthday to Angel Insiya, who is a big girl now!" Nadia wrote on the Facebook page dedicated to bringing her daughter back from India, where she is with her father Shehzad Hemani.

Interpol withdrew an international arrest warrant against Shehzad Hemani, who had his daughter Insiya kidnapped from Amsterdam in September 2016. The Public Prosecutor does not accept this and will keep trying to have Hemani arrested, NOS reports.

Shehzad Hemani, the man accused of organizing that his daughter Insiya be kidnapped from her grandmother's home in Amsterdam in 2016 and took her to India, will absolutely not cooperate with a court order to return the now 3-year-old girl to her mother in the Netherlands, he said in a telephonic interview with newspaper AD. According to him, the order from an Indian court does not exist and is "fake news".

Lawyer Nancy Dekens accused the investigating judge of passivity in the case surrounding kidnapped Amsterdam toddler Insiya Hemani. According to the lawyer, up until now the judge has put in very little effort to question three of the suspects in the kidnapping who are abroad. These include Insiya's father Shehzad Hemani in India, a suspect who is in custody in the United States and one in custody in Iraq, the Telegraaf reports.

At least three Dutch companies sold granite that came from quarries in India using child laborers or debt slaves, according to a study by Dutch groups Landelijke India Werkgroep, Stop Kinderarbed and Kerk in Actie, newspaper Trouw reported on Thursday.

The study focused on South Indian states. The researchers investigated the working conditions in 22 quarries and at six locations where granite is processed. In seven quarries they found child labor and in nine debt slavery - where someone is forced to work unpaid to settle debt.

A 33-year-old Dutch man was arrested in India for selling synthetic drugs from the Netherlands in the city of Hyderabad, in southern India, NOS reports. 

Indian media reports that the Dutch man is an IT specialist from Rotterdam. According to the broadcaster, he is suspected of being involved in a courier service that provides drugs to a website used by locals to order drugs. He flew from the Netherlands to India four times, often staying in Hyderabad.
