Birds of prey in the Netherlands will be trained to hunt down and take out enemy unmanned flying devices, police announced on Sunday. The authorities released video of a successful demonstration from Friday, saying a final decision on continuing the program will be made over the next few months.

The Dutch Comfort Women also want an apology from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe over the World War II crimes they fell victim to. On Monday it was announced that Japan and South Korea reached an agreement about the South Korean Comfort Women, which states that Abe will apologize to them and create a fund for them in which Japan will put 1 billion yen, about 7.6 million euros

Prime Minister Mark Rutte ended his trade visit to Japan with a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Tuesday evening. He flew back to the Netherlands after the meeting to attend the refugee summit between the European Union and African countries in Malta on Wednesday and Thursday.

An Amsterdam delegation led by Mayor Eberhard van der Laan and a Dutch delegation including Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister Henk Kamp of Economic Affairs are currently on a trade visit in Japan. Prime Minister Rutte will be leaving the Asian country after meeting with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to attend the refugee summit in Malta on Wednesday and Thursday.
