Many Dutch companies do not deal carefully with their customers' data, consumers association Consumentenbond concludes after studying five large companies in different industries. Even companies that you won't expect collect data on a large scale to sell to third parties, the association warns, BNR reports.

Consumentenbond looked at PostNL, Prenatal, Sanoma, Ticketmaster and Zalando. They were more or less randomly chosen, which means they are not necessarily the worst in the market when it comes to handling customer data.

Finnish media company Sanoma sold Dutch television broadcasters SBS to John de Mol's investment fund Talpa for 237 million euros, Sanoma announced on Monday. This mean's Talpa is now the sole owner of SBS6, Veronica, Net5 and SBS9, AD reports.

Talpa and Sanoma jointly bought SBS for over 1 billion euros in 2011. Talpa then acquired the minority share of 33 percent and Sanoma the rest.

V&D department store is hoping to lure ore customers with yoga courses and other events. The store announced on Thursday that it will organize events in 15 branches every week from April 29th, Z24 reports. The events will be linked to titles by publisher Sanoma, such as VIVA, Tina and Libelle.

Sanoma is selling of 19 magazine titles to New Skool Media, the Finnish publisher announces today. The sale also means that 93 employees are moving over to New Skool, who retain their current terms of employment and social plan.
