Dutch people see speeding, dog poop and parking problems as the biggest sources of nuisance in their neighborhoods, according to the Safety Monitor that Statistics Netherlands published on Monday.

Over a quarter of Dutch, 26.7 percent, consider speeding the biggest problem. 17.9 percent think that dealing with dog poop should be a priority. And 15.4 percent are annoyed by parking problems.

Over 12 percent of Dutch girls between the ages of 15 and 18 years have been bullied online, almost twice as many as boys in the same age group, Statistics Netherlands reported based on figures from the Safety Monitor. The total number of Netherlands residents over the age of 15 that faced cyber bullying remained stable at 3 percent between 2014 and 2016. That is about 400 thousand people, ANP reports.

The number of Dutch who were treated rudely declined last year, according to Statistics Netherlands' Safety Monitor 2016. The survey of 80 thousand Netherlands residents were specifically asked whether they feel the were treated rudely or disrespectfully over the course of 2016.

Registered common crimes in the Netherlands, including burglaries, violence and theft, dropped by 20 percent between 2012 and 2016, according to Statistics Netherlands on Wednesday. Crime experienced by Dutch, registered in the national victimization survey Safety Monitor, reduced by 13 percent. People living in the Netherlands also feel safer, ANP reports.

Fewer Dutch people became the victims of crime in 2015. Last year 17.6 percent of the Netherlands' population was a victim of crime, compared to 18.9 percent in 2014. The crime rate was the worst in Amsterdam and the best in Emmen, according to the Safety Monitor 2015.
