Young people between the ages of 18 and 25 in the Netherlands are largely positive about the future of the country. They are less worried by social issues like crime, the multicultural society, population density and the mentality in the Netherlands than the older generations. Their main concern is environmental pollution, Statistics Netherlands revealed on Friday in its annual National Youth Monitor.

A massive 40 percent of Dutch-Turks and Dutch-Moroccans don't feel at home in the Netherlands, according to a study by social and cultural planning office SCP. They are particularly concerned about their employment prospects in the country and regularly experience discrimination, Het Parool reports.
The SCP analyzed multiple other studies in preparation for the upcoming parliamentary election and came to this conclusion.

Two elementary schools in Amsterdam Zuid, each with predominately darker-skinned students, are planning to send their pupils on the streets of Amsterdam wearing bright white t-shirts with the slogan, "Is this white enough for you?" written on them. The blunt message is meant to raise awareness for the schools, while encouraging more white parents to enroll their children at the two locations.
