The airport in Bali is reopening today, the Indonesian authorities announced. The Denpasar airport was closed for two days because of poor visibility caused by volcano Agung spewing ash into the air. Despite the airport's reopening, KLM is not resuming its flights yet, RTL Nieuws reports.

Website Flightradar24 shows that planes are indeed moving to and from the Indonesian island again, according to the broadcaster.

The Indonesian authorities closed the international airport on Bali due to an eruption of volcano Agung spewing large amounts of ash on the island. A total of 445 flights were canceled, resulting in 59 thousand travelers stranded on the island, NOS reports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is calling on Dutch people in Bali to register themselves with the Dutch embassy due to an imminent volcanic eruption on the island. People planning to go to the Indonesian island should also make sure they're registered with the embassy. Dutch on the island can register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' 24/7 concact center, RTL Nieuws reports.
