The death of a 34-year-old man from Kleve, Germany after falling from a roof in Nijmegen on Monday, was an accident, the police concluded. The case is now closed.
A man died after falling from a home on Groesbeekseweg in Nijmegen on Monday morning. The police can't say with certainty that the fall was an accident, and therefore closed down the area as a crime scene, the Gelderland police said on Twitter around 1:00 p.m.
Emergency services responded to the home around 11:00 a.m. and found the victim already dead at the scene. The victim's identity, age and where he is from were not revealed. "The police do not rule out a crime in fatal fall", the police said on Twitter.
A glider crashed in Malden, Gelderland on Thursday morning. No one was injured. The cause of the accident is under investigation, the police said on Twitter.
The little plane came down in a forested area on Groesbeekseweg, according to the police. An instructor and student were in the plane when it crashed. They escaped with no major injuries.
The plane crashed in the immediate vicinity of the glider-field, so other traffic was not in danger, according to ANP.
