Glider crashes in Gelderland town; no one injured

A glider crashed in Malden, Gelderland on Thursday morning. No one was injured. The cause of the accident is under investigation, the police said on Twitter.

The little plane came down in a forested area on Groesbeekseweg, according to the police. An instructor and student were in the plane when it crashed. They escaped with no major injuries.

The plane crashed in the immediate vicinity of the glider-field, so other traffic was not in danger, according to ANP.
