Man killed in fall from Nijmegen home; crime suspected

A man died after falling from a home on Groesbeekseweg in Nijmegen on Monday morning. The police can't say with certainty that the fall was an accident, and therefore closed down the area as a crime scene, the Gelderland police said on Twitter around 1:00 p.m.

Emergency services responded to the home around 11:00 a.m. and found the victim already dead at the scene. The victim's identity, age and where he is from were not revealed. "The police do not rule out a crime in fatal fall", the police said on Twitter.

According to De Gelderlander, several contractors were doing renovation work in the home at the time of the man's fall.

The police are at the scene, investigating.
