According to the organizations, Afghanistan is becoming more dangerous by the day and the Netherlands is taking unacceptable risks by sending children back there, AD reports.

Four underage boys were arrested in Groningen on Sunday just before two demonstrations in the city - one by anti-Islam movement Pegida and a counter protest by Groningen Tolerant. According to the police, they boys were arrested for being in the possession of fireworks and brass knuckles and not being able to identify themselves, GIC reports.

A few hours after the protests, the police said that the arrested boys seemed to have no connection to the Pegida demonstration.

A man was seriously injured in a stabbing on Joan Muyskenweg in Amsterdam Oost on Thursday night. The stabbing happened near a building used as a shelter for failed asylum seekers, according to RTV Noord-Holland.

A police spokesperson told the broadcaster that the victim is a 22-year-old man from Almelo. A 24-year-old woman was arrested. She is staying in the building, according to the spokesperson.

The victim was rushed to the hospital with injuries to his neck. He underwent surgery.

A group of failed asylum seekers known under the name We Are Here is squatting in another Amsterdam building. The group of about 30 failed asylum seekers tookup residence in an office building on Reigersbos in Zuidoost, the group announced on Facebook.

Before moving into this building, the people were living in buildings on Rijswijkstraat. They come from Ethiopia, Eritrea and Sudan, according to Het Parool. They've been put out on the street by the municipality of Amsterdam about 20 times, according to them.

VVD State Secretary Klaas Dijkhoff of Security and Justice wants to increase the percentage of failed asylum seekers leaving the Netherlands by using stricter conversation techniques. At this stage less than half of the failed asylum seekers actually leave the country.

There is room for improvement in the deportation of failed asylum seekers in the Netherlands, according to the National Ombudsman.
