A 40-year-old player for football club Victoria '03 from Oudenbosch was arrested for kicking a player for football club DSE in the head during a match between the two teams in Etten-Leur on Sunday. The victim was taken to hospital, Omroep Brabant reports.
The DSE player's condition is stable, a board member of the club said to the broadcaster.
A 64-year-old pastor of the PKN church in the Gelderland village of Rhenoy, was attacked in her church on Tuesday. The seriously injured woman was found lying in a pool of blood in the church on Dorpstraat and rushed to the hospital, NOS reports.
The pastor had an appointment to meet a piano tuner in the church. When she didn't return home, her roommate went to check up on her and found her lying in a pool of blood. Local residents say she was hit on the head with a hammer, though the police would not confirm that, according to the broadcaster.
A 58-year-old man from Winterswijk was seriously injured when someone attacked him with a hammer on Sunday afternoon. According to witnesses, the perpetrator hit him on the back of the head with a hammer, before fleeing in a car, AD reports.

A 21-year-old Schiedam football player was arrested on Tuesday for aggravated assault on a referee during a football match on Sunday. The player headbutted 60-year-old Rotterdam referee Henry Swenandan during a match between Steeds Hoger 3 and Kocatepe 7, AD reports.

The Dutch kickboxer was found guilty of various assaults, including that of now deceased businessman Koen Everink at Sensation White in Amsterdam in 2012.
