Tilburg man dies after tiny house falls on him while being lifted

A 36-year-old man from Tilburg has died after a tiny house fell on him during lifting work in Giessenburg, the Dutch Labor Inspectorate said Tuesday.

The accident occurred on January 28 along Doetseweg while a 14-ton tiny house was being positioned. For unknown reasons, the structure came loose and struck the man.

He was taken in critical condition to Erasmus MC in Rotterdam. The exact time of his death is not known.

The Labor Inspectorate said its investigation is ongoing.
