Three young people arrested for Hoorn shooting in November that left one hurt
The police have arrested three young suspects for involvement in a shooting incident on Grutto in Hoorn last month, in which one person was hurt.
The suspects are one minor and two men aged 18 and 20 from Zaandam and Amsterdam, the police reported on Monday. They were arrested on Friday, December 5, and Monday, December 8.
The shooting happened at around 6:30 p.m. on November 8. First responders found an injured person at the scene and rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment.
The police arrested two suspects on the same day of the shooting. They have since been released from custody and are no longer considered suspects in the case, the police said on Tuesday.
There was another shooting in Hoorn on the evening of November 8. One person was injured on Winterkoninkje, and a house was hit by a bullet. The police are investigating this incident, also looking into whether it’s connected to the shooting on Grutto.
