Wet start to spring break in the Netherlands, drier and sunnier later in the week

The first weekdays of the spring break in the central and southern regions of the Netherlands will be wet, with rain persisting through Monday and Tuesday. However, conditions are expected to improve later in the week, with drier and sunnier weather on the way, according to Weeronline.

Temperatures could reach up to 12 degrees in some areas on Monday and Tuesday, but a noticeable drop is forecasted for Wednesday, when the mercury is not expected to rise above 10 degrees.

On Monday, rain will fall throughout the day, and temperatures will reach a high of around 10 degrees. A moderate to fairly strong southwesterly wind will make it feel slightly cooler, Weeronline reports.

By Tuesday, the chance of rain showers will decrease in the afternoon. Temperatures will climb slightly, reaching 11 to 12 degrees, making conditions somewhat milder compared to Monday.

Wednesday is expected to be drier, with more sunshine breaking through the clouds. The temperature will hover around 10 degrees, accompanied by a moderate westerly wind.
