E.coli contamination triggers another recall, this time for Ladessa's Filet Americain
The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) has issued another recall over potential E.coli contamination. The recall affects various types of Filet Americain by Ladessa The Spreadmaker. Do not eat the products, the NVWA warned.
E.coli is often referred to as the “poop bacteria.” Infection with this bacteria causes symptoms including diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, fever, and fatigue. “This bacteria can pose serious health risks to people with low resistance, such as the sick, pregnant women, young children, and the elderly,” the NVWA warned.
