19-year-old man injured in Dinxperlo stabbing, 17-year-old arrested

A 19-year-old man from the town of Dinxperlo in Gelderland was injured in a stabbing incident. The incident occurred at around 2.30 a.m. in the Emmastraat.

The suspected perpetrator, a 17-year-old boy from Dinxperlo, fled after the incident. A short time later, the police found him in a house in Gelderland and arrested him.

The victim was admitted to the Slingeland Hospital in Doetinchem with various injuries. His life is not in danger.

The police cordoned off the area around Emmastraat for investigation and immediately investigated the house on Welinkweg, Omroep Gelderland reported. Furthermore, the suspect will be interrogated on Saturday, and a neighborhood investigation will be carried out.
