First voting guide for parliamentary election goes online

ProDemos is launching the StemWijzer at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning. It is the first voting guide for the parliamentary election on November 22 to go online. Other voting guides, like Kieskompas, will follow later.

On the StemWijzer, voters say how much 30 statements resonate with them to see which political party best aligns with their beliefs and values.

There are 95 possible statements voters can see, drawn up by ProDemos based on the political parties’ election programs, the current news, and what voters found important. ProDemos also submitted the statements to the parties.

The voting guide is based on important election themes. “Consider social security, climate, housing, and migration,” project leader Anne Valkering told NU.nl. Millions of people completed the StemWijzer before and during the parliamentary election in March 2021.
