Limburg company recruiting people to build Trump's wall

The Nederweert based company The Next Crowd is going to recruit construction workers to build American president Donald Trump's now infamous wall on the border between the United States and Mexico. The recruitment website goes online on Wednesday, AD reports.

The company specializes in creating digital job vacancy websites for projects. The American government issued a tender procedure for companies that can build a website to quickly recruit enough workers to build the wall. "To our surprise, we came out as the winner", Lizette Bos of The Next Crowd said to De Limburger on Tuesday. "When we were asked to tender, we first thought it was a joke. But the recruitment website goes online tomorrow."

Trump declared a state of emergency in mid-February so that he could get access to funds to build his wall. He justified the state of emergency by saying that there is a crisis of drugs and human trafficking at the border. Bot the Senate and House of Representatives voted in favor of withdrawing the state of emergency, but Trump used his veto power to put a stop to that.
