Man throws 7 kilos heroin out of van window

The driver of a delivery van threw around 7 kilograms of heroin out of his vehicle's window while driving on the A2 in Limburg early on Wednesday morning. The police saw the man throwing the package out of the car and arrested him, 1Limburg reports.

The police pulled the van over near Maasbracht. While inspecting the car, officers also found a block of hash.

The heroin has a street value of between 20 and 40 euros per gram. The man therefore threw between 140 thousand and 280 thousand euros of drugs out of the car.

The driver was taken to a police station for questioning. The drugs were confiscated.
