Fmr. Feyenoord equipment manager suspected in Belgium assassination

Michel Z., a 48-year-old former equipment manager for Feyenoord, is suspected of murdering Raouf Ben Alita in Belgium last week. A Belgian court ordered his arrest, Belgian newspaper De Gazet van Antwerpen reports.

Z. now runs garage Vintage Cars House in Stekene with his brother. He is suspected of killing 41-year-old Raouf Ben Alita in the warehouse of his company and then dumping Alita's body and a burning Range Rover 20 kilometers away, in the Netherlands on Zeedijk in Kloosterzande. Investigation showed Alita was murdered. The investigators believe it was an assassination in the drug world.

The Belgian police performed various investigations in the Vintage Cars House warehouse and found traces of blood.

Z. denies any involvement in Alita's death, according to the newspaper. His lawyer refused to comment on the case.
